The mission of Children and Family Futures (CFF) is to improve the lives of children and families, particularly those affected by substance use disorders. CFF consults with government agencies and service providers to ensure that effective services are provided to families. CFF advises Federal, State, and local government and community-based agencies, conducts research on the best ways to prevent and address the problem, and provides comprehensive and innovative solutions to policy makers and practitioners. CFF is a California-based not-for-profit organization. CFF is a leader in the Family Drug Court field and has been providing Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) to Family Drug Courts across the nation for the past 10 years. Currently, CFF is working as both a hands-on and web based technical assistance provider and program evaluator for more than 60 Family Drug Courts, through contracts with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Children’s Bureau, and several County grants. CFF is staffed by experts with specialized knowledge on improving collaborative practice and policy among the substance abuse, child welfare, Tribal, and family judicial systems. CFF staff and its network of consultants are available to develop, design, and present workshop and plenary sessions built on its extensive, award-winning experience to improve outcomes for children and familieswinning experience to improve outcomes for children and families.
